Responsibilities
Develop engineering data including drawings, test plans, test reports, assembly procedures, installation procedures, maintenance procedures, manufacturing travelers, and other engineering reports.
Create 2D or 3D models, engineering drawings of mechanical and electrical parts, and assemblies conforming to Aerometals drawing standards.
Perform detailed engineering analysis for each project.
Coordinate and/or conduct engineering tests and support aircraft flight tests as required.
Assist senior engineers in preparing plans, designs, specifications, stress and fatigue reports, and FAA certification projects.
Follow Aerometals quality procedures for all engineering products and processes.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required
BSME or BSMET and/or Aeronautical Engineering degree
2 years of related experience
Ability to create and interpret engineering drawings
Familiarity with AutoCAD and SolidWorks CAD programs
Technical report writing, technical communication with other departments, vendors, and customers
Preferred
Familiarity of design for manufacturing
Familiarity with ANSYS FEA and CFD or equivalent
