Responsibilities

Collaborate with our team to develop, refine, and maintain critical tools and systems that support internal developer workflows, ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day engineering operations

Drive improvements in our development environments by contributing to new features, providing code reviews, and proposing solutions to enhance system efficiency and resilience

Draft and review Request For Comment (RFC) and Architecture Decision Record (ADR) documents, ensuring clear documentation is an integral part of our engineering process

Participate in a weekday on-call rotation to assist internal teams with any challenges they encounter using our tools and systems

Contribute to our growing body of knowledge by contributing to documentation efforts, sharing best practices, and building reusable tooling for sustainable software delivery

Has experience using both compiled languages (Go, Rust, C++) and scripting languages (Bash)

Has an understanding of infrastructure management concepts and public Cloud Providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and tooling

Preferred

Previous experience working on a platform engineering team

Previous experience working on a developer productivity team

Previous experience with HashiCorp products is a huge plus!
