Responsibilities

Defining project development strategy and reporting feasibility and risks on moderately complex projects. Collaborates with cross-functional team members.

Establishing performance specifications and tolerances for new products, documenting project progress, and tracking R&D timelines and budgets.

Coordinating design reviews, specifying technical requirements, directing process and quality lab activities, and assisting in manufacturing start-up and validation of new products.

Acting as the lead technical liaison across various account assignments.

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field

2-4 years of experience in packaging product development and experience managing multiple, simultaneous high priority projects

Knowledge of injection molding and/or stretch blow molding machinery and process with PET plastics

Experience in statistical analysis and process control and stability

Computer skills including Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint

Ability to manage moderately complex projects from conceptualization through commercialization

Travel 25%

Preferred

Experience in Polymer Science Packaging Development is desirable

Knowledge of property enhancing material additives (not limited to but including barrier & U.V protection) for various packaging requirements
