Responsibilities

Acts as a safety leader and ensures a safe working environment in conjunction with the EHS Manager.

Acts as an interface between maintenance, manufacturing, contractors, and engineering.

Establishes and monitors staff performance, development, and goal setting.

Prepares plant capital budget and initiates capital projects.

Works to provide solutions and improvements to machines, equipment, and facilities.

Monitors spare parts, schedules preventative maintenance, and manages grounds and building maintenance.

Develops continuous improvement programs for the maintenance department.

Ensures security, fire, and emergency systems are operational and implements energy-saving initiatives.

Promotes a strong safety culture and adherence to policies and procedures.

Demonstrates and fosters Amcor Core Values and contributes to a high-performance culture.

Facilitates and enforces all company policies and procedures.

Integrates WCOM initiatives into the plant culture.

Engineering backgroundPlant manufacturing processes

Required

Education: BS Engineering or similar degree required

A minimum of 7 years related Engineering and/or manufacturing experience.

A minimum of 3 years of previous supervisory experience.

Intermediate to advanced computer skills to include MS Office, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD or equivalents.

Industrial mechanical, electrical, pneumatic experience.
