Responsibilities

Under limited supervision of a licensed professional engineer, perform a variety of progressively responsible engineering assignments involving engineering principles.

Complete engineering projects, design work and draft specifications involving adaptations and modifications to Power Plant systems, equipment, materials, and procedures.

Conduct, analyze tests, diagnose and evaluate equipment performance for Power Plants. May direct the work of craftsmen or technicians. May assist less experienced engineers or others.

Prepare reports, operating instructions, and project outlines in connection with engineering assignments. Follow appropriate business procedures. Apply appropriate project management techniques for the successful development and execution of projects to sustain and improve plant performance.

Mechanical Environment ExperiencePower Generation Facility Experience

Required

Bachelors degree in engineering, engineering technology, engineering physics, biosystems engineering, mathematical science, physical science or related science plus one or more years of post-Bachelors engineering experience relating to the area of engineering specialization required to perform the job.

Driver's license

Preferred

Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering

Experience in an industrial mechanical environment

Experience working at a power generation facility
