Engineering Intern, Paint Controls

Responsibilities
Review system drawings and compare to field installation and document findings.
Assist senior engineer or maintenance dept. with troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.
Assist Controls Engineering with PLC related tasks as required.
Change Autocad drawings for electrical systems to document field conditions.
Perform system testing and ensure all components are functioning properly
Develop and write testing scripts and test cases to ensure proper system functionality
Document the system integration process, including detailed steps and procedures
Assist senior engineers in analyzing test results and identifying areas for improvement
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure all systems are integrated and functioning properly
Assist with troubleshooting system issues and identifying solutions
Communicate regularly with senior engineers and other team members to provide progress updates and receive feedback
Participate in team meetings and contribute to team projects as needed
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all testing and integration activities

Required
Field(s) of study: Electrical Engineering
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD Degree program at an accredited university.
Proof of enrollment in current or into next program (MS, PhD)
Rockwell PLC programming and systems
Network (ethernet) troubleshooting and system design
Ignition programming
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
