Responsibilities
Create and modify 3D models for assistive devices and technologies
Develop technical drawings and specifications using CAD software
Support prototyping and testing of physical product designs
Assist in simulating product performance and structural analysis
Help optimize designs for manufacturability and accessibility
Write basic scripts to automate design processes
Contribute to design documentation and technical specifications
Participate in design review meetings and product development discussions
Support the transition from design to manufacturing
Assist in quality control of 3D printed prototypes

Required
Proficiency in 3D modeling software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar)
Experience with CAD/CAM technologies
Basic programming knowledge (Python or similar) for automation
Understanding of mechanical design principles
Familiarity with 3D printing and rapid prototyping
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
Strong spatial visualization abilities
Interest in accessible product design
Enthusiasm for learning
Fluent in English
Experience in a team-based environment
Proper & prompt communication skills
Ability to work 5-10 hours per week (flexible scheduling)
