Responsibilities

Lead the technical vision for the Data Lake team, aligning with company goals and driving strategic outcomes through innovative data solutions.

Oversee the design and implementation of high-throughput data solutions, ensuring that they are scalable, efficient, and capable of powering critical operations.

Partner with teams across AI, ML, analytics, and other departments to enhance and expand our self-service data platform, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of the organization.

Establish and uphold high standards for data quality, governance, and system integration, addressing complex distributed data challenges with robust solutions.

Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and collaboration.

Balance and prioritize multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives while maintaining high standards of technical excellence.

Required

At least 5+ years of industry experience in data engineering and software development.

Proven track record of solving complex big data challenges and delivering impactful solutions.

Deep knowledge of data modeling, data access, and data replication techniques.

Hands-on experience with cloud-based Data Lakehouses.

Outstanding coaching and mentoring skills.

Talent for developing high-performing teams and nurturing a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Strong commitment to software quality.

History of building reliable, high-uptime systems that meet and exceed performance expectations.

Ability to translate business needs into well-defined projects.

Hands-on approach to solution design, implementation, and execution.
