Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering leaders, UX Design, and Data Science to innovate and deliver new functionalities for the home page.

Work closely with the engineering team members alongside Product, Design, and Leadership to determine the priority of the most impactful work for the Home team.

Grow team members into leaders on the Home team and across the organization.

Work with relevant stakeholders to set the intermediate to long term vision for the team.

Pioneer an insights-based task system to deliver timely, relevant insights to customers precisely when they need them most.

Implement experiments to validate ideas, and work across products to iteratively improve features.

Be responsible for hiring new engineering team members as the team continues to grow.

Required

You have been an Engineering Manager for a team before.

Excited to do some hands-on engineering work.

Hands-on experience with one or more front end technologies (React, TypeScript, Angular, Vue, etc.)

Thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused, and strategic environment.

You have hired a successful team member before.

You have mentored an individual to become a technical leader on the team.

You have led and implemented large cross-team technical projects.

Experience with Python / Django.
