Responsibilities

Gather requirements and set the vision for the 3p partnership platform with Airbnb-wide impact

Design system architecture for the platform in collaboration with the engineering team

Make technology decisions and mentor engineers to establish best practices

Immerse in the software development lifecycle, shaping processes and influencing product strategy

Share team's work with tech leadership, gaining buy-in, and shaping product strategy

Required

9+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years of experience in a technical management role having ownership responsibility over large-scale software systems

You have built foundational platforms that other product teams within your company then built on top of. You’ve ideally built public APIs used by 3rd parties external to your company, or built integrations with other external companies (maybe multiple times).

You’re an inspiring colleague, a coach and mentor with experience owning and fostering engineering maturity in multiple organizations.

You’re a builder, and implementer, who seeks out high impact work (or it seeks out you), and who is: proactive, curious, and an excellent communicator
