Responsibilities
Start building a trusting relationship with direct reports and peers.
Understand the projects your teams are working on and how they contribute to company goals.
Work closely with senior ICs to ensure technical strategy sets the team up for success.
Transition the Cloud Operations team under your leadership.
Help teams build scalable solutions for complex releases.
Improve processes, manage on-call rotations, and enhance self-service capabilities.
Enhance observability and reduce MTTD and MTTR for critical customer issues.
Define and implement cloud-specific SLOs and performance targets.
Champion customer engagement in design and development phases for flawless deployments.
Improve infrastructure key pain points and enable product teams to use the Cloud SLO framework.
Create a long-term plan for continuous improvement and higher-scale customer handling.

Required
You have at least 4 years of management experience and 5 years of hands-on coding experience.
You have led engineering teams and held a high technical bar for teammates and yourself.
You have experience with SaaS operations.
You have experience with Google Cloud Platform.
You have experience with container solutions (Kubernetes, GKE, Kustomize, Helm).
