Engineering Manager - GoldSeal Imaging

Responsibilities
Provide visible leadership and support for the development and direction of the GoldSeal Imaging Engineering team
Work with team members to cultivate a winning attitude and creative work environment
Partner with Global Imaging Engineering teams and drive refurbishment requirements upstream to the design
Partner and work across site leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver programs to commitments: quality, schedule, and budget
Develop product roadmaps and integrated program plans
Deliver product commercialization, product controllership, and product structure maintenance
NPI leadership from product concept through customer satisfaction assurance
Engineering leadership for multi-product process/design standards including decontamination, data removal, and packaging design
Deliver cost reductions through Variable Cost Productivity Projects and Lean initiatives
Ensure compliance and support internal and external audits
Represent GEHC in R&D working group for Remanufacturing Industries Council

Required
BS Degree in Computer Science, Mechanical, Electrical or Biomedical Engineering and 7 years of relevant work experience
3+ years of functional management experience
Proven mentoring and coaching abilities, demonstrated ability to motivate & inspire others
Demonstrated leadership, energizing teams, and project management
External Focus: Understanding customer needs, marketplace dynamics, industry trends, & the competitive landscape in the industry/function & considering the external impact of business activities & decisions on the external environment
Preferred
5+ years of functional management experience
Six Sigma/Lean Certification
Diagnostic Imaging product experience
GE HealthCare experience
Experience with Refurbishment, Remanufacturing or Service activities
Experience leading New Product Introduction Teams and product launches
