Responsibilities
Lead the Process Engineering department activities, including new plant setup, equipment buyoff, SOP support, and efficiency improvement.
Manage major and minor model manufacturing plan development, budgeting, and adherence to quality, cost, and safety requirements.
Provide leadership and training to new engineers, oversee new plant equipment buyoff, and ensure plant goals are achieved.
Collaborate with global engineering teams, implement process improvements, and address safety concerns proactively.
Coordinate with design groups to improve manufacturability and resolve quality concerns, and support manufacturing operations.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
Two or more years of comprehensive professional experience in a similar function.
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other PC applications to produce non-standard, creative products.
Previous supervisory experience, providing leadership, coaching, guidance, and training and contributing to staff development.
Manufacturing knowledge and expertise.
Background in supporting a highly technical automotive-related manufacturing environment is highly desired.
Experience in supporting the operations across various levels and functions.
Knowledge of international standards organization (ISO) 90001 manufacturing quality standards, ISO 14000 environmental standards, and IATF 16949 standards.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with all staff levels and disciplines a must.
