Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of 8-12 engineers, including both onshore and offshore developers
Drive team execution and delivery of high-quality product features
Work closely with Product Management to plan and execute sprint cycles
Implement and maintain development processes in an agile environment
Provide technical guidance and code reviews
Participate in architectural discussions and technical planning
Support security and compliance initiatives (SOC, LegitScript, HIPAA, PCI)
Manage team performance and career development
Foster a culture of engineering excellence and customer focus
Monitor and improve team velocity and quality metrics
Participate in recruiting and hiring processes

Required

5+ years of software engineering experience with 2+ years in team leadership
Strong hands-on experience with PHP, Symfony, React, and single-page applications
Experience leading engineering teams in an agile environment
Knowledge of healthcare technology and compliance requirements
Experience with system architecture and infrastructure
Experience managing distributed/offshore team members
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Active coding and technical leadership abilities

Preferred

Experience with healthcare SaaS products
Strong proficiency in our core technologies: Backend: PHP, MySQL, Apache, Nginx, Symfony, Api-Platform
Frontend: React, TypeScript, Redux, React-admin, Material UI
Infrastructure: Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform
Experience with monolithic to microservices architecture
Experience with modern CI/CD practices and Github Actions
Background in security and compliance frameworks
Experience with documentation systems and practices
Track record of mentoring developers
Experience in customer-centric product development
Startup experience in fast-paced environments
Familiarity with logging systems like Betterstack
Experience with both single-page and multi-page applications
