Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of Engineering for a manufacturing plant including projects, product design, equipment maintenance, process improvement, quoting/costing, and BOM/Routing maintenance

Supervise a team of Engineers and Draftsmen, assign projects, and ensure successful completion

Identify and execute process improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, cost, and productivity

Utilize Lean and Six Sigma practices, collaborate with other plant departments, and track KPIs

Develop and implement efficient processes, demonstrate proficiency with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or other 3D CAD systems

Engage in project controls, prototyping, and requirements engineering/analysis

Create, maintain, and propose changes to company SOPs, work instructions, forms, and records

Coordinate time studies to determine manufacturing process times
