Responsibilities

Lead an application development team of developers and QA members using Scrum ceremonies and methodologies.

Lead ongoing development and maintenance activities, including leading code reviews. You will guide the team on best practices.

Manage your team and ensure completion of coding and QA assignments on time. Ensure quality of deliverables and system-level documentation.

Collaborate with Architecture and Technical Product teams for solution design.

Be the Technical Lead and participate in all Scrum processes, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups.

Improve individual team members' performance, processes, and quality across all teams.

Support team members training and career goals

Help to hire and retain top engineering talent.

Ensure your knowledge of technology and tools is current.

Required

7+ years of software engineering experience.

3+ years of leading software delivery teams.

Leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide and inspire a team.

Experience with Agile development approaches.

Excellent collaboration and communication skills, working effectively with cross-functional teams.

A deep understanding of AWS architectures and its potential solutions.

Python application experience.

A solid understanding of semantic HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts.

Experience with one or more modern JavaScript web frameworks such as React, Vue.js, Angular, etc.

Good understanding of web standards and browser concepts (e.g., how the browser parses and constructs a web page).

Experience with REST APIs.

Experience with Continuous Integration / Deployment.

Preferred

Bachelor’s in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field/work experience.

Experience with React ecosystem.

Understanding of Relational databases.

Experience deploying and integrating with AWS Cloud-based solutions.
