Responsibilities
Managing product development programs covering system mechanical design, electrical, controls, and software
Overseeing and directing program development tasks by working with Engineering functional managers to allocate resources and define deliverables
Coordinating design and project reviews involving marketing, engineering, applications, manufacturing, quality, and field service
Creating and maintaining detailed Gantt charts, managing development budget and BOM costs
Leading the creation of the product development plan as per the PLC process
Assuming ownership of new product releases to production, including documentation and test procedures
Interfacing with engineering for continuous improvement projects and upgrade/retrofit kits
Participating in customer meetings and working groups
Collaborating with engineering to implement best DFx practices in product design
Leading FMEA analysis on new products and coordinating 3rd party certifications
Ensuring adherence to engineering processes and workflows in new product development
Managing software feature releases in collaboration with the Agile SW development team

Required
BS degree in Engineering or Science
7+ years of experience managing development of automated equipment for the semiconductor, electronics or medical manufacturing industries
Experience introducing new products into the market from concept to commercialization
Ability and willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities & assignments
Experience managing software & firmware releases in coordination with hardware designs
