Responsibilities
Perform technical analysis of biogas-to-renewable energy and solid waste projects.
Manage projects across all phases, from investigation to construction and remediation, including preparing drawings, plans, specifications, reports, bid documents, and certifications.
Design biogas collection systems, leachate management, stormwater/surface water management, and liner systems.
Prepare detailed construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
Effectively manage project schedules and budgets.
Prepare proposals and maintain strong client and regulator relationships.
Implement and promote safe work practices on all projects.
Analyze systems to ensure operational objectives and regulatory compliance are met.
Prepare permit documents for new site developments, modifications, and closures.
Oversee construction projects to ensure adherence to engineering and regulatory standards.
Contribute to thought leadership by co-authoring or publishing papers in your area of expertise.

Required
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Geological, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in engineering projects, including piping design, construction design packages, and gas/liquid collection systems.
Proficiency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting technical documents, such as large-scale blueprints from CAD designs.
Strong Civil 3D and GIS skills.
Experience in writing environmental reports and excellent communication skills.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and PDF editors (Bluebeam or Adobe).
Experience in biogas, landfill gas systems, and the solid waste industry.
Preferred
40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER Certification.
Professional Engineer (PE) certification or the ability to obtain one within six months.
Proven ability to supervise technical and support staff and provide leadership and mentoring.
