Responsibilities

Project planning, execution, and communication from inception through completion

Implement key processes from the Mazzella Management System (MMS): KPIs, CARs, Supplier Performance, Kaizen projects, training, and support

Direct, plan, and establish project budgets and implementation timeliness that support business goals in collaboration with production, sales

Manage all project scope, specs, and schedule changes

Manage all project activities in accordance with the schedule and take responsibility for overall execution of work

Document and execute all changes in the scope of the project

Track and analyze technical problems to identify patterns/trends and determine cost-effective ways to eliminate root causes

Drive a continuous improvement culture/mindset with respect to project delivery and leadership demonstrated through the utilization of performance metrics and defined performance improvement plans

Ability to lead and direct cross-functional teams to include engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, quality, and outside contractors

Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university with a focus in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, Operations Management or related discipline; in the absence of a degree, directly related job experience serving in a project management role

At least 3 years of project management or engineered customer projects, or the equivalent combination of education and experience

Ability to manage teams through influence rather than absolute authority

Strong situational analysis and decision-making abilities; strong analytical, conceptual, and planning skills

Excellent math skills and overall PC literacy (Microsoft Office) are required; Microsoft Project preferred

Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, and disciplined with the ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision

Strong written and verbal communication skills and the demonstrable ability to communicate appropriately both internally and externally

Proven track record of meeting and exceeding deadlines
