Responsibilities
Lead & develop a team of Mechanical/NPD Engineers - evaluate and develop performance, provide training & feedback
Work in 3D modeling software to develop new products
Lead NPD efforts for specific product lines, delegating tasks and serving as point person for collaboration between other departments internally
Serve as technical point of contact for customers
Perform testing and analyses to ensure top product quality - FEA, FMEA

Required
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required
5+ years' experience in an NPD/Mechanical Design Engineering role with supervisory/managerial duties
Background in an industrial/metals manufacturing setting - knowledge of machining, fabrication, welding, and/or stamping processes
Strong proficiency in SolidWorks/other 3D CAD software
Experience working cross-functionally with other internal & external stakeholders to drive project completion
Excellent project management skills with proven track record of meeting deadlines and budgets
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
