Responsibilities

Taking full ownership of business, strategy, opportunities, pipeline, and revenue for net new and existing Enterprise accounts in the Southeast.

Understanding customer’s business requirements and aligning Kong solutions to add value and help achieve their business objectives.

Providing account leadership and direction in the pre- and post-sales process and contributing to analysis on wins/losses.

Effectively managing and leveraging cross-functional relationships with SE, SDR, Operations, Marketing, Product, Legal, etc.

Fostering and encouraging partnerships with the Channel, Cloud Providers, Systems Integrators, ISVs, etc.

Building large ecosystem-based sales campaigns.

Embracing the sales process with meticulous attention to detail.

Operating with a high standard of excellence.

Meeting Customers and Partners on-site and remotely, as well as attending events, trade shows, etc.

Required

5+ years of experience in selling software to Net New Enterprise accounts

Track record of over-achievement in hunter roles

Experience with infrastructure software, open source, APIM, and the cloud native landscape

Strong interpersonal skills including written and oral communication

Excellent negotiation, presentation and closing skills

Motivated, optimistic, driven, competitive mindset
