Responsibilities
As CCO Enterprise Architect you will be instrumental in crafting a winning technical solution that tightly aligns with our customer’s desired outcomes, industry best practices, Unisys portfolio offerings and emerging innovative technologies.
You will be principally responsible for developing, architecting and presenting business / technical roadmaps to meet client needs.
You will own the “sales story”, ensure solution robustness and be overall responsible for ensuring the solutions and offerings put forward work together, meet client’s needs, deliver value and are understood.
You will be a leading contributor of a win oriented team of presales professionals that work together in designing solutions and delivering corporate growth results.
You will draw upon the consulting and domain expertise of the global Unisys organization, and actively engage with Solution Management, field sales teams and clients in the development of new and expanded client revenue streams.
You will be a recognized authority internally and externally on leading-edge technologies, theories, or techniques.
You will determine and pursue courses of action essential in accomplishing objectives and integrating advanced technology, theories or techniques that have a significant continued impact and delivers expected business outcomes.
You will lead the full solution and roadmap development cycle, while interacting closely with Sales to hone our solution and messaging to the prospective customer.
Supporting Sales Executives shape deals in the early stages, provide technical expertise and work with the customer to understand the value of the solutions being offered.
Work with all Unisys business units to ensure the solutions put forward by EU Solution architects and Enterprise architects are fit for purpose, challenge when not and ensure the seamless combination of all offerings in a full ITO opportunity.
Lead client orals at all stages of the bid, ensuring the correct participation and representation to suit the scenario and desired outcome of that bid phase.
Ensuring through the sales process the offerings are demonstrating the “why” and business value of what a partnership with Unisys will bring a prospective client
To win! As a leading member of the presales team and in partnership with the sales team, this position requires a burning desire to best our competition and bring home the deal for Unisys through the development of well-articulated, value laden and compelling business solutions.
Educate Unisys customers on the outcomes, benefits and business value associated with our solutions and approaches to resolving our customers’ business challenges.
Understand client business goals and outcomes and aligns the company solutions to client’s end to end architectural framework.
Discovers, identifies and articulates previously unrecognized business value opportunities provided to client through scope, approach, metrics, billing and other changes.
Ensures innovation is repeatable and contributes this collateral to the solutioning community through appropriate forums.
Identifies any repeating risks and initiates programs to resolve, escalating as appropriate to leadership as appropriate.
Defines repeatable solutions, cross-business unit solutions, taking strategic view, optimizing the enterprise solution and considering in the solutions the required industry specific needs.
Ensures detailed solution and architectural framework are aligned throughout pursuit lifecycle.
As a natural leader, the candidate for this role may assume a leadership position and direct small-to medium-sized teams to support the needs of the BU and to fulfill succession plan requirement.

Required
BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent with 12+ years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
8-10+ years directly in solutioning and winning multi tower and full ITO propositions with 5-7+ years’ experience working in a presales or solution selling organization with global experience
Strong understand of Enterprise technology stacks across workplace, cloud, infrastructure and enterprise applications
Strong sales acumen with proven experience on how to deliver client presentations that “tell the story” demonstrate the value and ultimately win
Strong experience in enterprise sales pursuit process and stages
Demonstrates expert knowledge across a wide range of outsourcing services and solutions
Expert in emerging solutions, roadmap and the business applications of technology
Recognized thought leadership both internally and externally
Understand the various 3rd party advisor led procurement processes (ISG CAS for example)
Expert knowledge of the strengths and weaknesses of competitor products and services portfolio
Develops best practices for innovative financial models in outsourcing services that bring long term business value to customer solutions
Strategic, deep understanding of Total Cost of Ownership, its relation to demonstrating an ROI and capturing business value for analysis
Recognized industry expertise and experience
Strong understanding of enterprise architecture
At least one Microsoft, CISCO or Cloud certification credential
Preferred
Master’s/ Advanced degree
CISSP or other security credential is advantageous
