Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive data and analytics technology platform strategy aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure security and compliance.
Oversee the selection, implementation, and maintenance of data and analytics technologies and platforms.
Work closely with business and technology leaders across the organization to understand their technological needs and provide actionable insights.
Liaise with IT Security teams to implement best practices and standards.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our data and analytics capabilities.
Design and implement scalable data platform using Azure-native services such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, and Power BI.
Ensure data security and privacy by implementing best practices and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., CCPA) using tools that align with Enterprise standards.
Develop and enforce data security policies, conduct regular security audits, and ensure encryption of sensitive data both in transit and at rest.
Manage the development of APIs and data integration solutions to facilitate seamless, secure, and timely data flow across systems.
Oversee the creation and management of deployment pipelines, infrastructure tuning and optimization, and cloud cost management.
Ensure secure and efficient data flow with proper network configurations, policies, and monitoring.
Manage direct reports and provide strategic direction and leadership.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, encouraging collaboration and teamwork.
Mentor and develop team members, setting clear goals and performance expectations.

Required
Minimum 12 years of general business experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience leading teams, including management of staff.
Significant hands-on experience working with industry-leading cloud data platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric.
Significant experience with industry-leading visualization tools. These include, but are not limited to Microsoft Office (especially Excel with VBA), Qlik, Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy, Cognos, ThoughtSpot, etc.
Advanced project and portfolio management skills.
Advanced problem solving and decision making skills.
Ability to think strategically.
Advanced interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to develop strong partnerships and influence others.
Ability to interact effectively with peers, customers and other functions.

Bachelor’s degree in information systems or other equivalent degree.
10 years of experience in Data & Analytics and/or Information Technology required.
3 years of experience managing people.
Advanced knowledge of data and analytics technology and platforms.
