Responsibilities

Design and implement enterprise-grade data architecture solutions leveraging Azure technologies such as Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks.

Develop scalable and secure frameworks for data integration, storage, and analytics.

Oversee end-to-end data architecture, including ingestion, transformation, and visualization pipelines.

Provide guidance on selecting the appropriate Azure services and tools for optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.

Implement data governance frameworks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and data security best practices.

Define and manage data lineage, cataloging, and classification standards.

Work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analytics teams to understand requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data architecture with business strategies.

Stay updated on the latest Azure technologies and trends to drive innovation.

Optimize data processes for efficiency, scalability, and reliability.

Required

Proven experience as an Enterprise Data Architect, with a strong focus on Azure-based solutions.

Expertise in Azure services, including: Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL Database and Cosmos DB.

Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing principles.

Experience with big data technologies and frameworks, including Hadoop or Spark.

Knowledge of data governance and security best practices (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and PowerShell.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
