Responsibilities
Independently develop, manage, promote, and track ERM related projects and program implementations leveraging project management professional (PMP) methodologies and practices.
Plan, execute, track and report on ERM related programs, projects, and initiatives, with all impacted business and corporate stakeholders, through to completion.
Develop project/program plans of action, including tasks/deliverables, milestones, and definitive timelines.
Lead periodic meetings with impacted business/corporate stakeholders, suppliers, and others to ensure accurate, comprehensive, and timely tracking and reporting on ERM tasks, issues and concerns relative to implementation of programs, initiatives, and projects, through to completion.
Work directly with front-line management up to and including Executives to manage program, initiative and/or project statuses.
Escalate material risks, issues, or challenges to ERM program, project, and initiative completion to ERM management, impacted stakeholders, and their management, as necessary, to ensure timely awareness and that required activities are identified and completed to resolve impediments and delays to completion of projects, programs, and other initiative activities on schedule, as designed.
Interact with Internal Audit, Compliance, and FHFA regulators to ensure open communication and transparency.
Develop project management methodologies, metrics, reporting and systems, as appropriate, to quantify and accurately monitor progress.
Work with the business to develop plans to mitigate risk and program performance issues.
As necessary, perform gap and data analysis to address program gaps or deficiencies.

Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Minimum 5 years of related work experience in project management, risk management.
Minimum of 5 years of experience managing large scale projects, programs, and hardware/software implementations, including Governance Risk and Control (GRC) tool implementations.
Prior experience working in a Line 1 or Line 2 risk management role/function.
Experience working in an Agile environment and familiarity with methodology.

Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to effectively work independently across various business divisions and functional areas.
Demonstrated strategic thought leader who can independently and proactively identify required actions, timelines, impacted stakeholders/responsible contacts, issues, and potential solutions to ensure completion of ERM projects, programs, and initiatives, as scheduled.
Demonstrated experience in successfully managing risk projects, specifically as an effective Project Manager.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to credibly challenge peers and business stakeholders, as necessary, to ensure completion of projects, programs, and initiatives, within defined scope, timeline, and budget.
Demonstrated experience generating informative, accurate and timely reports to all impacted stakeholders, up through and including senior management, relative to completion of ERM projects, initiatives, and programs.
Knowledgeable in the usage and functionality of Project Management tracking and reporting tools; Microsoft Office Products, specifically: Outlook – Advanced User; Word – Advanced User; Excel – Moderate User; Visio – Moderate User; Jira – Moderate User.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and levels of management to ensure completion of required responsibilities, as expected and on time.
Ability to influence respectfully and tactfully, across the enterprise.
Preferred
Preferred candidate will maintain a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Preferred candidate will maintain a Scrum Master Certification and be familiar with Agile practices and ceremonies.
Preferred candidate will have at least 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in Risk Management project management.
