Responsibilities

Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities while ensuring successful customer retention & satisfaction.
Build and execute against complex, enterprise-wide sales cycles. Effectively present Pentaho's value proposition to C-level executives and business leaders.
Conduct sales both in-person and virtually across multiple industries.
Collaborate with the business development team to develop a strategic territory and account plan to maintain a robust pipeline and exceed booking targets.
Leverage Channel Partners to maximize efforts and build a strong network of resources for our customers.
Coordinate team selling efforts with Sales Engineering, Professional Services, Product and various SMEs across the Pentaho team.
Utilize Salesforce and Clari to manage and update pipeline activities.

Required

Over 8 years of experience in quota-carrying software sales into large enterprises.
Proven success in exceeding sales quotas and managing complex sales cycles.
Experience in selling business applications or software platforms, particularly in data management, analytics, ETL, and Big Data.
Proven ability to build and present an ROI/business case for high level executives.
Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Ability to problem-solve and be proactive.
