Responsibilities
Building relationships with key decision makers at the district level
Selling Newsela’s suite of products
Employing solution-based selling techniques and solution mapping
Ensuring school board preparation and approval
Creating and maintaining an aggressive pipeline
Building and adjusting strategic account plans for key accounts
Moving each account through the sales cycle
Pipeline creation, management and forecasting
Designing lead generation campaigns
Managing sales through the entire lifecycle
Collaborating closely with other departments

Required
5+ years of demonstrated success selling supplemental products to school districts in the K12 market
Extensive experience in networking, prospecting, and building a pipeline in Florida
Well-versed in MEDDPICC sales methodology
Proven success forecasting business in the EdTech industry
Must be based in California to be considered for this position
