Responsibilities
Conducting engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
Creating designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
Designing of roadway geometry, traffic control, signing, and pavement markings.
Utility coordination support.
Calculation of quantities and cost estimates.
Using computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.

Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
Preferred
Civil Engineering degree with a focus on transportation, highways, roadways, or pavement design.
Effective time management, task prioritization, and strong interpersonal skills.
Prior experience with MicroStation is highly desirable.
Relevant internship experience preparing roadway plans.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact with the client in a professional manner.
Proficient in MS Office Suite.
FE/EIT preferred.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
