Responsibilities

Follow ODOT, OTIC, and/or City standards

Perform engineering calculations under the supervision of a more senior engineer

Work on projects including Intersection and Interchange Improvement Plans, Interstate Reconstruction Plans, Urban and Rural Roadway Improvement Plans, Maintenance of Traffic Plans, and Drainage and Erosion Control Plans

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field

Preferred

Experience with an emphasis in civil engineering fields such as highway design, stormwater and multimodal transportation projects.

Ability to recognize discrepancies in results, and follows operations through a series of related detailed steps or processes

Good written and verbal communication skills

Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Bentley MicroStation/Geopak and experience with MS Office

Ability to work as a member of a team or perform independent work as required.

Good interpersonal skills, good command of the English language both, verbally and written, the ability to express thoughts clearly, good time management skills, and a good attitude towards work.
