Responsibilities

Assist lighting designers, architects, engineers, and project managers in specific assignments

Prepare lighting design calculations and documentation for various design stages

Create lighting layouts, photometric calculations, and fixture schedules

Implement relevant lighting standards and codes

Select lighting equipment based on aesthetics, functionality, and budget

Participate in design charettes and construction administration processes

Research, interpret, and apply lighting-related code requirements

Attend site visits to monitor project progress and identify discrepancies

Required

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in lighting design, interior design or related field

0-2 years of experience in the design of building lighting systems

Enthusiastic commitment to the multidisciplinary design process and team environment

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Curious and open-minded to learn and assume increased responsibilities

Committed to building a long-term professional career

Preferred

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, and good knowledge of industry software
