Responsibilities
Collaborate with the payroll team to process new hires, rehires, and employee maintenance while adhering to Federal, State, and Local regulations.
Assist in balancing and validating earnings and deductions to ensure accuracy.
Monitor address changes to maintain correct tax setups for varying jurisdictions.
Guide new employees through the ADP portal registration and setup process.
Manage the payroll inbox, responding promptly to inquiries from employees and managers.
Utilize IRS, State, and Local publications to determine appropriate payroll withholding taxes for each employee.
Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.

Required
High School Diploma/GED required
Proficiency in office tasks, with strong skills in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting principles
Excellent communication skills for professional correspondence and resolving payroll inquiries
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field preferred
Previous payroll and/or Human Resources experience is a plus
Familiarity with ADP or other HRIS systems is preferred
