Responsibilities
Conducting online literature searches
Compiling and analyzing environmental data using spreadsheets
Documenting methods used
Generating tables, charts, and technical reports to communicate results to the client
Support additional projects, as needed, which may include fate and transport of contaminants
Exposure modeling and risk assessment
Scientific peer review and workshop coordination
Other office-related tasks

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field (chemistry, biology, toxicology, or public health).
2-5 years of relevant experience.
Strong writing, communication, and computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Projects, etc.) as well as strong problem solving and research abilities.
Strong analytical and data management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Successful results of preemployment screenings, including federal background check, MVR, and drug screen.
Comply with company drug and alcohol policy.
Be authorized to work in the US or will be authorized by the successful candidate’s start date.
Preferred
Experience with Federal clients (e.g., EPA, FDA).
Experience with use of databases, models, and other risk assessment and decision analysis tools is preferred. These include tools to evaluate fate and transport of contaminants, exposure and hazard/risk assessment of chemicals, and related efforts.
