Responsibilities

Experience in applying data analytical techniques, methods, processes, and procedures used in conducting a thorough barrier analysis of APHIS policies, practices, and procedures as required under Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) Management Directive 715 (MD-715).
Experience in reviewing regulations and policies necessary to develop APHIS programs in compliance with USDA's Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Assessment (DEIA) guidance.
Developing Diversity and Inclusion goals and objectives and measuring how APHIS programs contribute to the agency's DEIA mission and success.
Identifying and defining systemic barriers to equal employment opportunity, developing concrete, practical solutions, and assisting Federal managers in integrating equal employment opportunity action into their continuing management strategies.
Develop training techniques to prepare educational videos, training aids, reports or newsletters that aim to inform employees of program initiatives.

Required

You must be a US Citizen or US National.
Individuals who were born male after 12/31/1959 must be Selective Service registered or exempt.
Subject to satisfactory adjudication of background investigation and/or fingerprint check.
Successful completion of one year probationary period, unless previously served.
Direct Deposit: Per Public Law 104-134 all Federal employees are required to have federal payments made by direct deposit to their financial institution.
Successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
All USDA employees are required to be enrolled in Continuous Vetting.
Current federal employees applying for a promotion opportunity must meet time-in-grade (TIG) requirement of 52 weeks of service at the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the position being filled.
