Responsibilities

Review, research, and resolve tax, hazard insurance, and mortgage insurance information for escrow exceptions.
Verify and audit calculations and information for accuracy.
Prepare annual escrow analysis according to state-established schedules.
Perform escrow analysis on Chapter 13 Bankruptcy filings within established timeframes.
Process escrow-related checks and mail escrow analysis statements and refund checks.
Respond to consumer inquiries related to cancellations in line with investor guidelines.
Ensure all tasks are performed in compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
Provide productivity summaries on a weekly and monthly basis.
Stay updated on industry regulations and participate in initiatives to improve business performance.
Demonstrate and promote our company's core values.

Required

High school diploma or equivalent required, some college courses/technical training in Accounting or related field preferred.
At least one year of total work experience in analyzing and reconciling accounts.
Knowledge of mortgage lending processes, terminology, and compliance requirements related to property tax and insurance.
Familiarity with state and federal debt collection laws, bankruptcy laws, and other legal situations.
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with consumers professionally.
Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Basic math and accounting skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
