Responsibilities
ETL Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL processes to extract data from multiple sources, transform it into usable formats, and load it into target systems such as data warehouses or data lakes.
Data Integration: Implement and maintain data integration solutions across various platforms, ensuring seamless data flow between systems.
Data Quality and Governance: Monitor and ensure the quality, consistency, and security of data throughout the ETL pipeline. Identify and resolve data quality issues.
Performance Optimization: Optimize ETL workflows for scalability and efficiency, ensuring minimal impact on source systems and optimal performance of data pipelines.
Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, data architects, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, understand data integration needs, and translate them into technical solutions.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for ETL processes, data mappings, and workflows.
Support: Troubleshoot and resolve ETL failures or issues, providing timely resolutions to ensure business continuity.
Innovation: Stay updated on emerging ETL and data integration technologies, tools, and best practices, and make recommendations for improvements.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience in ETL development and data integration using tools like Informatica, Talend, SSIS, DataStage, or Apache Nifi.
Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) and non-relational data sources.
Strong understanding of data modeling concepts, data warehouses, and data lakes.
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automating ETL tasks.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred
Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Knowledge of API integration and web services.
Understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
