Responsibilities

Perform manual and automation testing in validating data sources

Extraction of data

Applying transformation logic

Loading data into target tables

Working closely with data engineering functions to ensure a sustainable test approach

Required

4+ years of ETL testing experience

Testing experience in Data Engineering (Spark/PySpark and Data Bricks), Big Data Testing and Strong Python/PySpark scripting

Strong working experience with AWS Services like Glue, EMR, etc.

Experience with AWS Databases RDS PostgreSQL/AWS Redshift/ MS SQL Server/Mongo DB Database and highly proficient with complex SQL scripting to validate source/target data load and transformations

Experience in Databricks data pipeline testing with Databricks/Spark framework in AWS cloud infrastructure

Experience on different types of testing that includes Black Box testing, Smoke testing, Functional testing, System Integration testing, End-to-End Testing, Regression testing & User Acceptance testing (UAT) & Involved in Load Testing, Performance Testing & Stress Testing as needed

Knowledge of applying the PySpark Data Frame API concepts using PySpark to complete data transformations/manipulation task's

Strong understanding of business intelligence concepts, architecture & building blocks in areas ETL processing, Databricks Delta lake, Datawarehouse, dashboards and analytics
