Responsibilities
Proactively seek out and generate leads for events and bookings for three commercial spaces in NYC.
Develop relationships with potential clients and industry professionals
Conduct tours of the venues for prospective clients and answers all questions
Negotiate and close contracts in alignment with company goals and branding and prepare all event paperwork
Identify operational challenges associated with bookings and determines how to best work with the staff and customer to solve these challenges and/or develop alternative solutions
Coordinate and communicate event details both verbally and in writing to the customer and venue operations/staff
Maintain detailed records of leads and communications and bookings, manage booking software
Manage logistics and payment for each event booked, ensure billing accuracy and conducts bill reviews with the clients prior to processing the final bill
Follow up with customer post-event. Delivers excellent customer service throughout the customer experience and encourages the same from other employees

Required
Proven track record in event/hospitality sales
Self-motivated and willing to work independently
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Experience with booking software
This is a contractor position, applicants must provide their own computer equipment with video conferencing capabilities.
