Responsibilities

Attend board and committee meetings to take minutes and provide support on the action items from each meeting.
Disseminate minutes and follow up with committee members on tasks assigned.
Plan all events with guidance from committee chairs. Help secure vendors, donors, volunteers, and registrants. Plan out the logistics, and registration for events including volunteers, and create day-of maps, checklists, programs, etc. when necessary.
Provide administrative support to committee chairs and board members as required.
Provide general administrative support to include answering phone calls and email inquiries, maintaining paper and electronic files, and assisting in board management, including meeting preparation and facilitation.
Manage third-party marketing manager to ensure that the website, all foundation social media, and PR events to increase foundation reach are up to FCL standards.
Provide local outreach to the schools. Organize presentations at local schools showcasing the programs and ways for the students to pursue a career in the industry.
Create content (I.e. social media posts, ad posts, flyers, newsletters, etc.)
Research and apply for various grants by using creative writing to help the foundation stand out amongst other applicants. Identify other fundraising opportunities and help to create an endowment fund for the foundation.
Attend other industry/association events to create awareness for the foundation and build stronger partnerships.
Build and manage database ensuring accurate data entry for contacts, program participants, donors and donor prospects.
Assist with preparing and distributing electronic flyers, event invitations, and newsletters.
Network with targeted donors and other industry foundations/companies to foster relationships that are mutually beneficial.
Create SOPs for programs and events.
Support the board in the growth and scalability of the programs.

Required

Minimum two years related experience; nonprofit experience a plus
Proficiency with databases, and Microsoft Office, in particular Word and Excel
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team with minimal supervision
Solid written and oral communication skills and excellent phone manner
Excellent organizational skills and ability to consistently meet deadlines
Interest in and commitment to FCLF mission
