Responsibilities

Articulate & support the organization’s unique mission and strategy.

Serve as the public face of the organization in the industry and community.

Increase the visibility & influence of the organization through participation in relevant boards and entities.

Lead hiring, onboarding, mentoring, and management of staff & consultants.

Expand the organization’s revenue base by sourcing new members, funders, and partnerships.

Oversee marketing, social media, and PR programs.

Develop and refine the organization's website and internet presence.

Advocate for homeownership education and affordable homeownership at local, state, and national levels.

Required

Experience in project management, supervision, nonprofit administration, and financial management. Familiar with 990 returns & audits.

Knowledge of U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) comprehensive housing programs including compliance, timely data collection & reporting.

Proven experience and success in fundraising and fiscal management.

Grant writing & management experience.

Strong communication skills including written, verbal & presentation.

Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. Strong coalition building skills.
