Responsibilities

Serve as the executive leader for the Category for Advantus Health Partners, driving the vision and strategic direction of the product portfolio across acute and ambulatory care settings.

Own the end-to-end process for applicable products and services, from creation and negotiation of supplier contracts to operational execution within the GPO structure.

Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers, including industry leaders.

Lead efforts to innovate within the category space, leveraging market trends and technological advancements to enhance product offerings and improve outcomes.

Act as a key interface between the supply chain organization, clinical leadership, physicians, and service lines.

Manage and mentor a high-performing team that includes a clinical business unit, contract sourcing team, and data analysts.

Utilize analytics and market intelligence to inform strategic decisions, ensuring that all sourcing activities deliver measurable value and align with the organization’s overall goals.

Stay at the forefront of healthcare trends and innovations, serving as a key contributor to the organization’s strategic vision.
