Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of the company’s customer acquisition strategy to drive sustainable growth across business lines.
Set clear goals and KPIs for customer acquisition, working closely with executive leadership to align these targets with the company’s overall growth strategy.
Oversee the acquisition funnel, from awareness to conversion, ensuring a smooth and high-performing customer journey.
Drive innovation in customer acquisition strategies through testing, optimization, and leveraging new trends and technologies to stay ahead of competitors.
Maintain a running list of creative growth strategies and stay ahead of industry trends.
Develop and execute creative growth strategies, leveraging a portfolio of acquisition channels, including paid search, social media, display advertising, partnerships, content marketing, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and offline media.
Lead all media buying and affiliate marketing efforts with internal team members and external agency partners.
Optimize marketing spend to ensure effective budget allocation and maximize ROI across all acquisition channels.
Develop and execute campaigns that acquire customers at scale, ensuring they are data-driven, cost-effective, and high-performing.
Monitor and refine customer acquisition tactics across different channels, ensuring customer quality is prioritized alongside volume.
Use analytics and insights to evaluate the effectiveness of customer acquisition strategies and make data-driven decisions to continually improve performance.
Analyze customer behavior and conversion data to identify opportunities for new customer acquisition tactics, segment targeting, and increased engagement.
Develop and deploy new offers that lead to a reduction in CAC.
Oversee conversion rate optimization efforts with internal team members.
Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to measure the success of acquisition efforts, and report those to key stakeholders across the company.
Monitor key metrics (e.g., CAC, LTV, ROAS) and work with data teams to report performance regularly to senior leadership.
Build, lead, inspire, and motivate a team to achieve and exceed customer acquisition goals.
Provide hands-on support and guidance to the team, while empowering them to succeed.
Foster collaboration between cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Product) to ensure alignment in acquisition strategies and overall growth efforts.
Mentor and inspire team members to be innovative and achieve ambitious targets.
Collaborate closely with Product and UX teams to ensure customer acquisition initiatives align with user experience, product development, and retention strategies.
Work with Marketing Communications to ensure that messaging, positioning, and customer personas are optimized across all touchpoints.
Partner with Finance to ensure budget planning aligns with projected customer acquisition costs and company growth goals.
Overcome obstacles and creatively solve problems to drive continuous improvement.
Analyze data and analytics to identify trends and opportunities to continually lower CAC as acquisition spend increases.
Provide detailed reports and updates on the performance of customer acquisition efforts to senior management, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Maintain a deep understanding of customer insights, trends, and behaviors to continuously refine acquisition tactics and strategies.

Required

At least 7+ years of experience in customer acquisition, growth marketing, or digital marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Experience in a high-growth or DTC (direct-to-consumer) environment is required.
Proven track record of scaling customer acquisition programs, driving significant growth, and achieving ambitious revenue and customer goals.
Leadership experience managing, mentoring, and developing high performance teams, with a focus on cross-functional collaboration and driving results.
Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, paid media (PPC, display, social), content marketing, SEO/SEM, and email marketing.
Exceptional data analysis skills with proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, A/B testing platforms, and reporting dashboards.
Proficiency in CRM, Marketing Automation, and Acquisition Platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager).
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field.

Preferred

MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
