Responsibilities
Lead the senior management team in creating an organizational staffing growth and succession plan.
Support risk management and business development of new lending programs and initiatives.
Develop and implement internal benchmarks, controls, and processes for staff measurement.
Monitor budget to ensure annual goals are met and report to the president monthly.
Provide high-level leadership ensuring functional operational and solid framework for program expansion.
Lead efforts to identify new opportunities to fill financing and programmatic gaps in community development.

Required
Bachelor’s or advanced degree from an accredited college or university or relevant work experience.
Minimum fifteen (15) years real estate experience preferably working with LIHTC and/or NMTC or comparable experience in commercial real estate, banking/finance or urban planning.
Minimum ten (10) years of progressively responsible management experience, including managing teams with senior management experience.
Must have working knowledge of real estate, finance and/or operations.
Experience with loan asset management, acquisitions, credit, underwriting in community development.
Self-starter and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to represent LISC's mission and work in all internal and external forums.
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time domestically.
