Responsibilities

Write content for Proposals, RFI responses, White Papers, and any artifacts required for new opportunities.
Lead proposal volumes and gather SME input when necessary
Work closely with the Business Development and Capture teams to qualify, refine, and execute IW’s technical solutions and responses for new business opportunities.
Develop and guide technical solution teams for new business opportunities through proposal submission using IW’s Internal Capture Management Process.
Contribute as a Technical leader of a diverse team from various organizations within IW during capture and proposal activities.
Guide and mentor other technical team members to grow IW’s technical capture and proposal team capabilities.
Assist the Capture Manager and Growth team in shaping procurement outcomes and confirming technical solutions and desired outcomes.
Participate in call plans for meetings with target clients, acquisition offices, program managers, and industry partners.
Support outreach to DoD and Federal agencies, including assistance with building new partnerships and communication strategies; developing methods to expand the IW customer base; and developing strategies to help ensure consistent, efficient, and effective solutions.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including other business development and capture team members, proposal managers, and operational program management teams to ensure effective, efficient, and integrated implementation of IW technical capture strategies.
Assist in the development of successful pricing strategies, identifying technical risks, and interpreting solicitation technical requirements to ensure IW’s level of effort is in alignment with technical solutions.
Meet or exceed established performance goals in support of overall corporate growth and success.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required

Bachelor’s Degree and 10 years of related experience providing solutions for Federal Government proposals to include: technical and management solutions, content creation, staffing/labor build up, etc.
Must be able to craft, envision, and design compelling written material in support of growth activities. Will lead and drive a hands-on approach to the development of proposal, procurement, and other marketing collateral.
Consistent track record of writing, editing, and reviewing winning proposal content and marketing collateral. Shall produce writing samples as part of the interview process.
Strong experience working with technical SME staff to gather information for proposal content, solutions for new opportunities, shaping procurements, and technical architecture response processes.
Must have a demonstrated/verifiable track record of proven success in the architecture of winning technical solutions and capture strategies for contracts at, or above, $50M.
Strong written and oral communication skills; successful proposal writing experience.
Proven track record in building accomplished teams, developing and selling solutions, and executing strategic campaigns.
Proficient using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Able to work extended hours and weekends when needed.
Security Clearance: The Solutions Architect must be a United States Citizen and hold a current DoD Secret security clearance or higher.

Preferred

Preferred experience includes performing in: a hands-on technical capacity on a federal program; the capture process and meeting with clients to gather requirements and provide artifacts; a management or team leadership role overseeing client delivery.
