Responsibilities

Managing and leading federal projects and programs, ideally for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC), the U.S. Air Force, or other Federal Agencies.
Building and leading successful program management teams.
Collaborating closely with other Architecture, Engineering, and General Contractors.
Directing professional and technical staff to complete complex architectural and engineering projects.
Achieving contractual performance and financial milestones across the lifespan of multiyear / multitask order contracts.
Managing aspects of a program such as oversight of project managers, oversight of project controls or similar.
Providing direction and oversight to AECOM staff and subcontractors.
Leading more complex projects that tend to be larger in scope and dollar.
Developing technical approaches and cost estimates for proposals.
Preparing, coordinating, and conducting project meetings.
Helping develop and maintain project schedule, project budget, and risk register.
Reviewing Design Documents and Coordinating Design reviews with various stakeholders.
Performing work with minimal direction, with periodic reporting to internal regional and Buildings + Places management.
Conducting reviews and providing staff feedback for continued improvement.
Analyzing financial statements and completing budget tracking.
Overseeing the preparation of work plans and organizing project studies.
Performing complex assignments often requiring the development of unique solutions to problems with the support of the project team.
Developing business growth strategies including pipeline development, teaming partnerships, and client engagement plans.
Being detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
Preparing, coordinating, and conducting project meetings and maintaining project documents.
Managing more complex projects and taking on increasing responsibility for leadership of direct reports.

Required

BA/BS in Architecture or Engineering or related field + 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Due to the nature of the work, U.S. Citizenship is required
Valid Driver’s License Required

Preferred

Preferred 15+ years of experience managing project and programs
Licensed PE or RA
Familiarity with DoD and Federal-Civilian agencies, installations, missions, and cultures
Existing relationship with Federal clients in the DFW area and broader Texas Region
Experience with Design-Build delivery and partnering with General Contractors
Graduate Degree in an Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management field
Ability to work in Fast-paced environment and Coordinate with multiple stakeholders
Ability to communicate at a high level with senior leaders within AECOM and/or the client's organization
