Responsibilities
Oversees employees in the functions of Premium Audit.
Ensures that calculations for risks are accurate.
Leads efforts to validate that the correct classes are being applied and in accordance with company procedures.
Conducts premium audits and participates in or perform tours of the insured’s premises.
Ensures audit results are reviewed with insureds, underwriters, and producers and that discrepancies are resolved.
Ensures that employee coding is consistent/accurate.
Maintains expert knowledge of rules and regulations applicable to jurisdictions and ensures correct and consistent application.
Sets standards for the provision of Customer Service throughout the discovery, updating, and/or correction process.
Responsible for performance and coaching of staff and decisions regarding talent selection, development, and performance management. Ensures new members of the team receive proper training.
Ensures that the team meets performance targets.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Required
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
Generally, 5- 8 years of premium audit experience with a focus on workers’ compensation.
1 to 3 years of leadership experience.
Preferred
Associates in Premium Audit Program (APA) certification.
