Responsibilities
Synthesizes customer feedback and industry insights to recommend strategic adjustments in Security Products roadmap, aligning GitHub’s solutions to customer challenges and emerging trends. Partners closely with engineering and design teams to shape a roadmap that meets both current and anticipated market needs.
Leverages relationships with key customers and industry leaders to inform product strategies, ensuring that GitHub Security Products capabilities address the broader productivity and innovation needs across the industry.
Establishes a trusted advisory role with internal teams and customer stakeholders, sharing best practices, providing strategic product insights, and fostering strong connections across revenue and EPD teams to advance customer success.
Serves as the voice of the customer, delivering feedback to GitHub’s product and engineering teams and advocating for product improvements that enhance customer experience and elevate GitHub Security products as a leader in application security.
Drives engagement and excitement around GitHub Security Products by collaborating with Global Enablement to provide training, demos, and guidance to Solution Engineers and Customer Success Architects, inspiring enthusiasm and deeper knowledge of Security Products value.
Partners with Customer Success Security Practice Lead to align adoption blueprints with product strategy, guiding customers in maximizing the value from GitHub’s Security Products latest features and cultivating long-term engagement with GitHub’s AI-driven vision.

Required
10+ years experience in technical consulting, technical consultative selling, practice building, or related technical/sales/industry experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 8+ years experience in technical consulting, technical consultative selling, practice building, or related technical/sales/industry experience OR Master's Degree in Social Sciences, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 6+ years experience in technical consulting, technical consultative selling, practice building, or related technical/sales/industry experience OR equivalent experience.
6+ years experience in digital transformation or using technology (e.g., Developer Experience, CI/CD, App Security, Software Engineering, AI, Machine Learning) to drive customer business outcomes.
Preferred
3+ years experience in business consulting, consultative selling, or change management.
3+ years experience orchestrating complex projects and/or leading projects within complex organizational structures.
