Responsibilities
Perform on-site installation, repair, preventative maintenance, and qualification of GERSTEL instrumentation on GC-MS and LC-MS systems.
Diagnose issues and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and proactive problem-solving skills.
Collaborate with customers, offering exceptional support and fostering customer satisfaction.
Adapt and navigate diverse situations with resourcefulness and adaptability.
Uphold a strong familiarity with Analytical Chemistry techniques.
All other duties as assigned.

Required
Gas Chromatography experience
Residence inside the continental United States
US Citizenship
Passion for helping customers and delivering exceptional customer support
Proficiency in Analytical Chemistry principles
Positive attitude, integrity, and a people-focused approach
Mechanical aptitude and proactive mindset
Ability and willingness to travel extensively (up to 75%) and stay overnight
Preferred
1-3 years of hands-on experience as a Service Engineer, especially involving analytical instrumentation
Mass Spectrometry experience
Liquid Chromatography experience
