Responsibilities

Perform start-up services, preventative and remedial maintenance, field modifications, and testing of CPSD products at customer locations.

Provide top-notch technical assistance to internal teams, third-party service organizations, and end users via phone and email.

Inspect and test returned products to identify defects and ensure optimal operation.

Be ready to respond to emergency technical support needs on an on-call basis, ensuring our customers are always powered up.

Diagnose malfunctions down to the board level and repair UPS system failures with minimal guidance, while mentoring less experienced technicians.

Maintain detailed service records, document services provided, and submit accurate expense reports in a timely manner.

Required

Associate's degree in Electrical Electronics or a related technical field

2-5 years of hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repair of electrical and/or electronic products

Developed knowledge of UPS systems, services, and peripherals

Proficiency with mechanical and electronic test equipment

Strong computer skills with MS Office and MRP/ERP business systems

Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members at all levels in a professional manner
