Responsibilities
Basic problem solving, installation, maintenance, and service repair on designated equipment following technical manuals.
Completing Preventative Maintenance and Field Upgrade Modification per instructions.
Ordering and handling repair parts cycle times.
Maintaining customer service logs and internal service records.
Communicating with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up.
Maintaining tools, test equipment, and ensuring calibration.
Meeting regulatory requirements and resolving service delivery issues.
Traveling 60-70% of the time in the US or Canada.
Scheduling planned maintenance and on-demand services independently.
Developing technical knowledge of One Lambda equipment for installation, calibration, and support.
Interacting with customers, sales personnel, and product specialists.

Required
A Bachelor of Science Degree required with Life Science or engineering graduation.
At least 1 year field equipment service experience required.
Familiarity and prior experience with Pipette automation hardware/software required, preference for Tecan or Hamilton systems.
Hands on experience maintaining, calibrating, repairing electromechanical medical device
Ability to read and use schematics and wiring diagrams.
Can interface comfortably with customers who may be in a stressful situation with a malfunctioning piece of equipment.
Ability to follow verbal directions and perform procedures as assigned.
Experience in reading, understanding, and implementing written and/or verbal assembly, test and inspection procedures.
Knowledge of bench top electromechanical assembly, problem solving, repair and testing techniques.
Ability to solder.
Must communicate clearly both written and verbal
Comfortable operating Windows 7 & 10 and have knowledge that including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Professional.
Familiarity with HLA Laboratories, testing procedures.
