Responsibilities

Receives specific assignments from the General Manager

Responds to inquiries arising from solicitations by sales representatives, phone contacts, etc. by inspecting fan equipment, determining repair or replacement requirements, and making necessary adjustments and drawings

Develops cost and quote information

Prepares quotes and submits to the General Manager for approval

Drive mobile repair unit to customer site

Contacts various sources to secure temporary personnel to operate mobile unit equipment as needed

Directs and/or assists hired personnel in operating mobile unit equipment to make fan repairs if needed

Analyzes product and service acceptance and determines or recommends any necessary changes

Maintains and insures proper maintenance of mobile equipment units and other company equipment and tools

Collects competitive product and/or service information as available

Prepares detailed service sales effort and expense information reports.

Provides all pertinent information related to location, size, sales potential, fan application and detail

Conduct work in a professional and presentable manner.

Conduct all work safely and professionally.

Provides information to the customer on all Robinson products and services

Makes recommendations for new and/or improved service procedures

Required

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience

2-4 years of experience in a similar or related job

2-4 years in a supervisory role

Must have a solid mechanical aptitude, and have the ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, customer requests, and have a strong understanding of industrial estimations and jobs

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Reliable & punctual

Basic Math skills to use mathematical techniques to calculate data or solve practical problems related to this position.

Physical & mental ability to gather and interpret data related to specifications, customer and engineering requirements, manufacturing operations, etc.

Must possess a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential information.
